MEGHAN BRISTER MUSIC STUDIO

My love for music began at a young age but I didn’t pursue singing until High School Choir. I knew I wanted to study voice after the impact my choir director had on me so I went on to achieve my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from East Tennessee State University. There I studied classical voice privately as well as being in a Pop/Jazz a cappella ensemble, Opera workshop, and Advanced choir. One of my goals in college was to sing as many styles as I could and be “convincing” in them. I love exploring what my voice is capable of and what makes certain styles sound like they do. After graduating I have performed professionally since Christmas of 2020. 
My true heart for music is in praise and worship. There is something so beautiful about giving back the breath that the Lord gave us to worship Him. I have been involved in church worship and praise bands since 2011 playing keyboard and singing. I have been teaching private voice and piano since the Summer of 2019 and I absolutely love it! It is such a joy to see students blossom in confidence as they refine their instrument.
